Double Portion Time!

Fifteen years ago a renowned prophet named Dick Mills picked me out of the crowd and prophesied over me the double-portion restoration promise of Job 42:10,12. Over time the promise was forgotten, as for most of those years there seemed to be little need of such a promise. But God didn’t forget.

A little over a year ago God informed me that beginning in 2012 He was going to keep His word and restore unto me a double portion and that the first thing He would do was give to me a new wife and partner in ministry!

And sure enough, that is what He did. This past June Deb and I were married in Arizona. We spent the remainder of the year adapting to the new life God had given us, and pursuing clarity from Him regarding His purposes for us. I would like to begin sharing some of these things with you. But first, let me thank you for the love, prayers and financial support you have given during the past years. The recent years have been difficult, but God has been faithful and positioned Deb and me for a new season of fruitfulness. I thank you for your prayers and support during this time. A new mailing address is included below for future donations.

After the season of loss, God spoke to me from the Book of Habakkuk. Five things He told me to do: Withdrawal, Wait on God, Watch to see what He would show me, Write it all down and Worship. Besides occasional public ministry here and abroad, these five things are what I have concentrated upon: withdrawing, waiting, watching, writing and worshipping. I should add a sixth “w” word – Work, as much effort has been expended remodeling the prayer house in Texas we call our home.

New Wineskins for New Wine

It has been during this “sabbatical” time that fresh vision has emerged. I want to share some of this with you:

1.     God has affirmed the original calling to the nations: Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Besides strengthening and equipping leaders, He has commissioned us to receive and communicate His present purposes and actions regarding the nations and the People of God.

2.     We are to prepare the way of the Lord, by ministering prophetically in ways that bring spiritual renewal, revival and awakenings to those in and out of the Church. We are, as part of a larger team, to exercise spiritual authority and revelation to open gates of revival and judgment as directed by the Lord.

3.     We are to impart spiritual gifts and the power of God to God’s servants and children.

4.     We are to administer healing to God’s “prodigals” and show them a way back to Him.

To facilitate these things, Frontlines is being reformatted in the following ways:

1.     Besides on-site ministry throughout the world, ministry and training will also be done through a variety of modes of technology: podcasts, internet courses, video series, etc. Writing and publication of worship songs, books and ministry resources will be included.

2.     An intercessory prayer/prophetic oriented cyber-church called Frontlines Church is being established. Via the internet, participants are able to worship, pray, dialogue, and receive teaching and training.

3.     A center is being developed on our Texas acreage for the purposes of intercessory prayer and pursuing divine encounters, spiritual revelation and personal spiritual renewal. We call it Patmos on the Plains.

4.     As led of God, Maniacs4mission will continue to use motorcycle ministry tours and other outrageous means as prophetic acts, motivational effect and tool for ministry.

Conclusion: Upon the foundations of the old Frontlines, God is bringing forth something new in our lives for a new season of ministry. The old Frontlines still exists, but new emphases and methods of ministry are emerging. God is making Deb and me into new wineskins into which He can pour abundance of the new wine of the Spirit for the benefit of the increase of the Kingdom of God. Pray for us!
