Capitols in the Deep South

The last three days John has traveled over 1500 miles! Last night he stayed with his cousin Norris in Niceville, FL, then left early this morning to arrive at the capitol building in Jackson, MS. After parking in front of the statue to the women of the Confederacy, he took this photo of the magnificent old capitol building.

Riding on to Louisiana, John prayed at the capitol in Baton Rouge, for people of this state beset every year by flooding and hurricanes. They need God's grace and strength to recover.
