Revival in the Home State of Daniel Boone?

When you think of Kentucky, do you think of Daniel Boone? Well, he was a frontiersman there, as the legends say, but he was also one of the founders of the state and served three terms in the Virginia General Assembly. John drove through the "Bluegrass State" and visited the capital, where he prayed for revival.

Kentucky was a significant part of the revival that came to be known as the Second Great Awakening at the beginning of the 1800s. You can see what this revival was like by reports of people who were there.
